I am so very grateful for this beautiful, wonderful life.
I am grateful for my sweet and loving Peter.
I am so very grateful for callings which stretch and strengthen us. For the sweet young women I get to spend time with who love and care for me.
I am grateful for the blessings and privileges I get to enjoy each and every day.
For the opportunity to experience my first "Youth Conference", being blessed enough to walk side by side with some of the most amazing young men and women as I was awe-inspired by their courtesy and love for each other.
I just watched with tears of joy streaming down my face as my sweet Beehives gathered around a boy in his wheel chair to dance with him at the big dance.
I watched in awe as handsome young men put away their pride as they escorted even the shiest girls in the ward onto the dance floor.
And watched a couple young men give up their seats at the temple so that a young woman could sit down.
Never before have I seen such gracious and thankful youth.
What a beautiful blessing it was to room with Heidi, another adviser in young women as we shared our life stories and ran 7 beautiful miles together one early morning nearly making it to the gorgeous Manti Temple.
What a great blessing it is to have so many amazing, wonderful people to grow and learn from!
I am grateful for the dedication of the people of Manti who have made the Temple and the Pageant the center of their lives. With more than 900 of the towns people participating who prepare all year to share a story so very dear.
For an all-loving Bishop who imparted of his great wisdom while touching on topics so very tender while having a "Maturation Part 2" Fireside.
I am grateful for a weekend spent with my sweet friends, Karinne and Em and for the sweet spirits that they carry.
We enjoyed homemade pizza together as we talked the night away. Knowing it is only with runners we'd be up early the next morning ready for a cool morning run. What fun it was to escort them on my bike as I remembered the many, many miles logged with these cute girls a few years ago...
Then, of course, a big breakfast of waffles and eggs as we listened to cute country songs together.
What a beautiful life!
