A Half Marathon to Hollar For

4632 sweaty faces. 9264 worn feet. From weekend warriors to avid distance runners, each racer came dedicated wholeheartedly to the 13.2 grueling miles that lie ahead them. Some older, some younger...others bigger and many taller...but ALL holding a precious goal--to make it to the finish.

Training began months and months ago, with aches and pains galore. Surprisingly enough, bringing each person back week after week forbegging more. Some may call it crazy, but this is what runners call the notorious "Runner's High."

Logging 10 miles on Saturdays just to begin the day is a feat only few can truly admire. There isn't a greater feeling of accomplishment or personal victory that can compare when you reach and exceed the impossible.

You did it, Liz! :)
