"Are you ready?!?" Peter shouted as we FLEW down the trail head.
Who says trails can't be used by sledders?!
It was the grandest idea we have had ALL winter--that is, until the third daring adventure down the half-mile ice patch.
Remember the old saying, "The third try is a charm?" Well, the third time down was anything but charming--especially for our poor bums!
If you ever try sledding down a rocky trail be sure there is plenty of snow on the ground first--and make sure all the rocks are covered deeply! Your tush may be in for a rude awakening when you land bum first on a large boulder! Thank heaven for some extra padding there!
