Mom and I had a great time on Tuesday at a Rapport retreat in Layton with a couple of her co-workers. It was great to feel the energy, passion, enthusiasm and heart again to remind us of our accomplishments at Leadership Breakthrough One--where we were tested to our utmost physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual capacities as we had to successfully pass through all of the designed modules. It helped remind me of the strength I have within myself to do hard things--as I saw myself do things I still have a hard time imagining.
May we remember and rekindle what it felt like the night we broke through our biggest barrier... LOUDLY and passionately reciting "America the Beautiful" with all conviction of our hearts...Remembering Day #1 giving an impromptu speech for what seemed like eternity...yelling until our voices were gone...speaking like we had never spoken before...and dreaming for what at first seemed impossible.
We must trust the processes we are going through in life at this MOMENT. They will help us remember what we are made of. What was your mission, Ma? Are you fulfilling it??? I think you would be surprised at what you have accomplished. We must not forget how far we have come!
"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." -Helen Keller
