What a beautiful life this is! I am so grateful that we have so many opportunities to learn and grow! I had such a faith-building experience this past week, which is quite the coincidence, since I just started my own Personal Progress to develop greater faith in my Savior.
I think one of my deepest fears is to be stuck alone or be abandoned and I had a challenging thought that vividly depicted this idea. I cannot imagine life without my very best friend, Peter, and this idea really frightened me.
My prayers were answered as I was reading in the scriptures a verse in the Doctrine and Covenants which stated, "Seek not for riches but for wisdom, and behold, the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you and then shall you be made rich. Verily, verily, I say unto you, even as you desire of me so it shall be unto you." As I was reading in D&C 132 I found the answer to that thing which was making me so heartsick. I know that the Lord looks out for each and every one of us, if we are only willing to reach out and grab his hand!
